 PRIO ACQUIRED BY ESSILOR OF AMERICA PRIO Corporation has recently been acquired by Essilor of America. This is an exciting step for the optical industry; given Essilor's strengths in optical technologies and lens design, this focus on the computer lens market will ultimately benefit ECPs and their patients. Our mission remains the same – to help ECPs provide the best computer vision care possible. PRIO will be integrated into Essilor’s operations, but we will continue to serve our customers with the PCL and Browser lenses, the PRIO Vision Tester, and Shazam Lens Calculator software. The PRIO frame line has been discontinued, in order to focus all of our resources on diagnostic testing and lens products.
